Job 9:27
January 31st, 2008If I say, I will forget my complaint, I will leave off my heaviness, and comfort [myself].
If I say, I will forget my complaint, I will leave off my heaviness, and comfort [myself].
Now when Jesus heard these things, he said unto him, Yet lackest thou one thing: sell all that thou hast, and distribute unto the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come, follow me.
But take diligent heed to do the commandment and the law, which Moses the servant of the Lord charged you, to love the Lord your God, and to walk in all his ways, and to keep his commandments, and to cleave unto him, and to serve him with all your heart and with all your soul.
And if a man borrow [ought] of his neighbour, and it be hurt, or die, the owner thereof [being] not with it, he shall surely make [it] good.
A stone [is] heavy, and the sand weighty; but a fool’s wrath [is] heavier than them both. Wrath [is] cruel, and anger [is] outrageous; but who [is] able to stand before envy?
Boast not thyself of to morrow; for thou knowest not what a day may bring forth.
Behold, God will not cast away a perfect [man], neither will he help the evil doers: Till he fill thy mouth with laughing, and thy lips with rejoicing.
Blessed [is] the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him.
He that loveth silver shall not be satisfied with silver; nor he that loveth abundance with increase, this [is] also vanity.
Be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them: for the Lord thy God, he [it is] that doth go with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee. And Moses called unto Joshua, and said unto him in the sight of all Israel, Be strong and of a good courage: for thou must go with this people unto the land which the Lord hath sworn unto their fathers to give them; and thou shalt cause them to inherit it.
