I HAVE BEEN ASKING FOR SOMETHINGS FOR A WHILE NOW HAVE NOT RECEIVE THEM YET, BUT I STILL BELIEVING GOD FOR THEM. SOMETIMES I THINK I ASKING FOR SOMETHING HE MAY NOT WANT ME TO HAVE.

This vrs. wants us to do two things before God will respond. First,it says we should ask, and secondly we are supposed to seek. While asking and seeking we are building a relationship with God, and when we are closer to God, we become more and more interested in what He wants for us instead of what our flesh wants for us. When we get a good response of “recieving” from God, we become faithful followers of our Lord and Savior. It seems to me that it all goes back to bringing glory to God, and thats pretty cool!

  3. John Says:

I really think the message is have faith in God and preserve hope. I don’t think it’s necessarily a literal promise. I don’t think we can ever measure how much seeking is enough seeking to resulting in finding and how much — and what kind of- asking is enough to result in being given something.

I’ll keep thinking about it though. Thanks for posting. God Bless.
